The clients of the project are a young couple with a 2-year-old daughter. /Since the man is a carpenter, he wants to build the building himself./ They desire to live in a unique home, in harmony with nature, in a relatively isolated place on the outskirts of Belgrade. The geodesic dome has a wooden structure of 3 frequency connected with metal connectors. As a request from the client, the geodome is raised from the base of the platform with “raisers” are most commonly used in dome practices in Japan. The construction is stilt, with the platform rising above the ground to minimize foundation costs. On the ground level, there is an entrance hall, kitchen, living room, kid’s bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. By the interior wooden staircase, the bedroom and the toilet on the upper level are accessible. The entire bedroom is designated as open to the dome’s facets space. Large triangular windows make the connection with the outside environment and allow the admiration of the wonderful wide view.
