The “Forest House” project is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, the respect and reverence of the Japanese for nature. It has its own philosophy and scene that tells with its details:
“The moment you are watching the reflection of the setting sun in water slightly agitated by the gusts of the wind”.
The space in the environment is minimal, and the comfort of living is maximal.
The roof plane follows the slope of the pitch, giving the feeling that the pitch has risen to shelter the family in its arms. A wooden visible structure outlines the frames around the walls plastered with clay plasters. The building is designed in such a way that there is enough light in all rooms during every period of the year and every part of the day. A passive ventilation system of pipes buried in the ground ensures the flow of cooled air in the summer and heated air in the winter to the living spaces.
