This project was very complex, because of the isolated building location, accessible only with off-road machines. On the other hand, the construction scheme had to be simple and easy to implement. That’s why I chose an A-frame construction scheme with round timber. I was informed that the construction works were about to be performed by volunteers, enthusiastic mountaineers, and cyclists. The shelter contains on the ground level a dining area and kitchen island for cooking, as well as a wood stove as the main heat source. Through a small ladder access to the second floor, where is the sleeping area. The space under extended to the ground (north) overhang, is dedicated to storage, shelter, and bicycle parking. Thanks to several volunteer and donation campaigns in the period 2018-2020, the shelter was completed and put into operation.
